DKC Solutions is providing products to address problem areas on farm tractors. Dave (our problem solver) has worked in the aftermarket parts business for over 30 years. Most notable are the many improvements made with the torque amplifier, making it far more dependable than its original design; clutches, and many drive-line parts. He is no longer involved with the major aftermarket parts companies, but never far away. He also invented the Tanks-A-Lok anhydrous ammonia valve locks, helping to reduce the rampant meth production that was happening in the “ag belt”. His work now consists of strictly developing specialized components that will fix problems with farm tractors.
His latest development came from the issues involved in replacing fuel filters on John Deere tractors. When replacing the fuel filter on models such as 8410, it is very common to allow air into the fuel system, since the filter is installed dry. It requires bleeding the fuel system to prevent a stall. This filter conversion changes the system to a spin on filter (which most everyone uses). You simply fill the filter with diesel fuel, making it wet, and you never have to prime the system to replace the air with fuel again. Simply spin it on, fire the tractor up, and go. Included is a premium filter that holds more fuel as well.
OLD STYLE FILTER

NEW STYLE FILTER

The new business was founded in 2021, to start the process of making the filter conversion a reality. First was the engineering process to manufacture a change up which simplifies (changing the filter). The first filter adaptor was machined from blocks of aluminum until it resembled most spin-on filter mounts. The next process was to mount it on a tractor, where the original filter was. Then connect it to the original fuel lines. Every possible issue was scrutinized and reimagined, such as casting the adaptor from one piece, making it look neat and tidy, like it was factory-made.
This is not a big and bulky item; most would never even know. It’s done professionally and looks it also. Considerations had to be given to heat and vibration, so 6160 aluminum is used to work dependably as you would expect it should. The kit consists of everything you will need to convert 1 tractor. The conversion can be completed in 2 to 3 hours and comes with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions. We warranty the parts and workmanship for 2 years.
